Tomioka (Tomioka-shi)
Tomioka (富岡市) is a city located in Gunma Prefecture, Japan. , the city had an estimated population of 57,013 in 20,367 households, and a population density of 390 persons per km². The total area of the city is 122.85 sqkm. It is the location of the Tomioka Silk Mill, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Tomioka is located in the southwestern portion of Gunma Prefecture.
